We currently have three main lines of research in the group:
1) Establishing the relationship between composition and lipoprotein structure, and the connection to the lipoprotein capacity to exchange fats. Funded via Swedish Research Council.
2) Developing methodologies to structurally study metabolon (membrane bound enzyme complexes) formation, using the Dhurrin metabolon as model system. Funded via Swedish Research Council.
3) Advancing strategies to determine the relationship between biomembrane structure as a function of curvature.
4) Understanding the behavior of lipid based nanoparticles for the delivery of drugs and genes in serum like solutions. Funded via the Knowledge Foundation and in collaboration with AstraZeneca.
5) Formulating nanocapsules for real vegan cheese making. Funded via Novo Nordisk Foundation.
